Is JECHS accredited? Yes, the school has duel accreditation. It is accredited by ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges). One is Christian and the other is secular. This means that any credit earned at JECHS is accepted by colleges.
What are the spiritual requirements for admission? At least one
parent and the student must be born-again believers in Jesus Christ and
regularly attend a Bible-teaching church.
What are the academic requirements for admission? A
3.0 GPA is preferred and no less than a 2.0 GPA with no F’s and average or
above standardized test scores.
Is Christian curriculum used exclusively at
JECHS? No, JECHS uses a combination of ABEKA and Bob Jones
curriculum along with carefully selected secular curriculum.
Is JECHS associated with any church or
denomination? No, the school is non-denominational. The school leases facility space from Temple Baptist Church, but is not affiliated with them.
